National Parenting Magazine Gold Award 2004.

This new translation of an old tale by Hans Christian Andersen is about gossip and small-town values, the tale of a small event turning into a huge scandal which both children and adults will find amusing. Stefan Czernecki's artwork perfectly captures the spirit of the story.

Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875) is best known to the English-speaking world for his stories: The Little Mermaid, The Princess and the Pea, The Ugly Duckling and The Steadfast Tin Soldier.

Mus White has translated Little Rhymes Little Photos by Hans Christian Andersen. She has also written From the Mundane to the Magical, a bibliography on photographically illustrated children's books.

Stefan Czernecki lives in Vancouver, BC. He is the illustrator of many books including Huevos Rancheros and The Sea King
