One of Canada's finest writers for young people, Sue Ann Alderson has published 16 children's books, including Sure As Strawberries, and Bonnie McSmithers You're Driving Me Dithers. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia and teaches writing at the University of British Columbia.

Arden Johnson wrote and illustrated The Lost Tooth Club and has illustrated many other children's books, including Bow Wow Birthday and Cabbage Moon. Arden is a resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota where she lives with her husband, daughter and a dog named Bear.
