Karen Needham Author of Strange Beginnings, Karen Needham is the curator of the Spencer Entomological Museum and teaches a variety of biology courses in the Dept. of Zoology at UBC. She has been fascinated with creepy crawlies since a young age.

Illustrator Biography

Launi Lucas is a biological illustrator at the University of British Columbia. Her work appears in many science journals and books.
